Midwest Writers Workshop is presenting an online course
Starting Friday, November 9, 2018 and accessible until the end of the year.
Writers are word people who usually hate numbers and bookkeeping, but regular bookkeeping is a guarantee of business success (I will show you the study to prove it).
As an author and accountant, I will share with you tips and tools to make record keeping easier. You don’t need complicated expensive software or a bookkeeper to be a successful writer. You will see how real authors keep their records that are easy to maintain and delight their accountants.
In this course you will learn:
This course is for writers who have started earning money from their work or book sales and need to learn how to keep their business records simply and easily so they can get back to writing! This is professional advice from a CPA and author at a great rate!
Format: Two pre-recorded video sessions including handouts of the PowerPoint slides. Sessions are 30-40 minutes each. Plus access to a Facebook group to ask questions of me, the presenter, Carol Topp, CPA.
The course officially begins on Friday, November 9th and the entire course (instructional videos and downloadable pdfs) will be available to you to access at any time you wish. Watch on your own time, at your own convenience, until December 31, 2018.
Cost: $80 (if you paid my hourly rate it would be $225!)
