I’ve attended several writing conferences, both as an attendee and more recently as a faculty.
Here’s a list of conferences I’ve attended or will be attending. Most are in the Midwest (IN, OH, KY)
Midwest Writers Workshop (I attended twice and learned a ton!) in Muncie, IN July 24-26, 2014
Indianapolis Christian Writers Conference is now renamed Indiana Faith and Writing Conference and will be held Oct 31-Nov 1 in Anderson, IN. Great line up of faculty. I was pleased to be included!
(new for me) Business of Writing International Summit August 1-2 in Louisville, KY. I’ll be on the faculty there speaking on business tips for writers and taxes for writers including sales tax.
North Ohio Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators is having their conference in Strongville, Ohio (Cleveland) on September 19 & 20, 2014.. I’ve spoken to one of their smaller events and honored to be asked to return to their full conference. My keynote will be “Author to Entrepreneur” and I’ll be presenting another workshop on “Taxes for Authors” and “Marketing and Social Media for Author.” I will also be available for individual consultations on your writing business.
I also served as a faculty member at the KY Christian Writers Conference in 2013. for their 2014 conference they have Liz Curtis Higgs. June 19-21, 2014. Should be great!
