A reader gave a 5 star Amazon review of Business Tips and Taxes for Writers

Cover250pixMy wife and I started a self-publishing entity, and I came across an unusual tax situation. After searching for some guidance online and only coming across lousy half-baked explanations, I found a post from Carol Topp on LinkedIn that not only answered my exact question, but offered a level of context and expertise that really caught my attention.

When I saw in her footer that she had written a book I was all-in. I read it from cover to cover in one sitting, and I’ve referred to it dozens of times since.

Carol knows her stuff, and she presents it in a way that’s easy to follow and understand. I find her writing to be very succinct – it’s incredibly thorough without being wordy. Just the right mix of IRS guidelines, business and budget management tips, personal stories, and clear examples.

My wife and I had the pleasure of being able to speak at a self-publisher’s conference, and we recommended this book enthusiastically.
